Hang pans up

Invest in a hot water tap

There is no doubt that outdated kettles hog precious kitchen worktop space. You can simply swap your mixer tap for an an all-in-one-tap which will dispense filtered steaming hot water and regular hot and cold water. Not only is a steaming hot water tap a kitchen space saver, but it will also save you time as you will no longer have to wait for the kettle to boil.

Japanese company Yamazaki find intelligent and stylish solutions for space saving. They produce magnet shelving and hooks that you can put on your fridge or sides of metal cabinets to hold anything from kitchen utensils to paper towels and plastic freezer bags.

Explore room divider shelving

If you have an open plan kitchen and need more space for your recipe books, crockery, plants, pans or food mixer consider using standalone shelving to divide the space between your kitchen and living or dining area.
